Yes, Pamela, that is a White Pelican by JJ Audubon, and it figures into one of the poems in the chapbook.

I cheated a little but it was fun. I pulled up a draft of a poem I wrote years ago that was basically just a list of what I found in my personal planner on a random day, and tweaked it a little. It's quite a snapshot in time!
